Business banking with Relay

Your company is formed. Next comes the bank account.

The bank account is what makes a new company real. It's where income gets deposited, where expenses get paid, and where the line between business and personal money finally holds. We partnered with Relay to make that next step simpler: up to 20 accounts, no monthly fees, no minimums, and the integrations to keep everything connected from day one.

International founder? Relay can't open an account for a business owner who holds citizenship or residency in a country on its prohibited countries list. Our other banking partner, Lili, accepts owners who aren't US citizens only if they hold citizenship from one of its supported countries. Check both lists before you order; some countries are covered by neither.

Why Relay works for our customers

Most people form a company with one thing in mind: a real business bank account that keeps everything separate. Relay is built for exactly that, and it scales with owners who run several companies or several income streams, or who need their books clean for an accountant.

Multiple accounts, one clear picture

Many small business owners keep everything in a single checking account, which makes it nearly impossible to understand how the business is actually performing. Relay lets you open up to 20 individual checking accounts within a single platform, so you can allocate money by category (payroll, taxes, operating expenses, owner's draw) and see exactly where every dollar lives. Each account gets its own Visa debit card and activity feed, giving you structure without the complexity of managing multiple bank relationships. If you run more than one LLC or corporation, each company gets its own dedicated account: no commingling, no guesswork at year-end.

Team access with the right permissions

Growing a business means bringing in people to help: employees, contractors, bookkeepers and accountants. With Relay, you control exactly what each person can see and do. Add team members with view-only access, authorize spending up to a specific limit, or give your accountant read access without exposing sensitive account details. No shared passwords, no blind trust, just clean, structured access that reflects how your business actually works.

Connects with the tools you already use

Relay integrates directly with the financial and operational tools small businesses rely on most, including QuickBooks Online, Xero, Gusto and Stripe. Transactions sync automatically, so there's no manual entry, no spreadsheet reconciliation, and no chasing your bookkeeper for exports. Whether you're running payroll, managing subscriptions or closing your books at month-end, Relay keeps everything connected and current, so the numbers you see match the money you have.

No fees, no minimums, no surprises

Traditional bank accounts often come with monthly maintenance fees, minimum balance requirements, transaction limits and wire fees that quietly chip away at your margins. Relay is built differently. There are no monthly fees, no minimum balances, and no fees on incoming wires. For businesses that watch their overhead, Relay keeps banking costs predictable and low, so more of your money stays in the business.

Is Relay a good fit for your business?

Relay is built for owners who are serious about keeping their money organized, especially people who run more than one company, Profit First practitioners, and founders who want clean books from day one. If any of these sound familiar, Relay may be a good fit:
  • You run more than one LLC or corporation and want each company's finances completely separate, without opening accounts at multiple banks
  • You practice Profit First or want to allocate income across dedicated accounts for taxes, payroll and reserves
  • You are mixing business and personal funds, or struggling to separate expense categories
  • You have a bookkeeper or accountant who needs clean access to your transaction history
  • You are using QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe or Gusto and want your banking to sync automatically
  • You want to see exactly where your money is at any given moment without logging into multiple accounts
  • You are tired of paying monthly fees for basic business banking

Start strong. Bank smart.

Your company is ready. Now back it with banking that keeps up. Apply for a Relay account from your Company Sage dashboard and bring clarity, structure and control to every dollar your business touches.
